We understand that dogs are beloved members of the family, so it's no surprise that many couples want to include their furry friends in their wedding day plans, especially in the wedding photos! However, ensuring your dog is well-cared for can add unnecessary stress to your big day.

 

That's where we come in. I will personally chaperone and have the upmost care for your dog for as long as you need. This allows you and your guests to relax and fully enjoy the magic of the day.

Whats standard with Raise the Woof Chaperones:

No Obligation Consultation

 

  • We offer a complimentary initial consultation via telephone or Zoom to discuss your wedding day pet care requirements. This consultation lasts approximately 30 minutes and provides an excellent opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will go over our chaperone service in detail, address any concerns, and create a comprehensive plan to ensure your dog(s) can be part of your wedding day, stress-free!
  • After the consultation, we will generate a quotation and send it to you via email for your consideration. The quote will be valid for seven working days. If we receive another enquiry for your wedding date, we will contact you accordingly.

 

Due to unprecedented demand, please allow up to 5-7 working days for your quote to be generated.

Pre Wedding Pet Care

 

 

  • Collection of your dog(s) from an agreed location on the morning of the wedding.
  • Pet sitting on the morning of your wedding day, allowing the wedding party to enjoy their preparations without worry.
  • A pre-wedding walk to burn off any excess energy and ensure your dog(s) are calm.
  • Standard grooming to ensure your dog(s) are photo-ready, including brushing and sprucing up. If appropriate, we will accessorise your dog(s) with your chosen wedding attire. 
  • Chaperoning your dog(s) to the church or wedding venue, including any pre-ceremony photography if required.

 

Add Ons

 

  • Discounted rates for full grooming services at the Raise The Woof Grooming Cabin (BS34 5PY) are available up to 6 weeks prior to the wedding date. This can also be arranged for the day before or even on the day of the wedding.

  • Discounted dog walking services are offered to help your dog get to know me better.

Wedding Dog Chaperone

 

  • Your dog(s) can be a meet-and-greeter as guests arrive.
  • Your dog(s) can walk down the aisle as a flower girl or dog of honour, either with a member of the wedding party or with our assistance. We can then sit with them at the side of the aisle, rear of the ceremony, or any location you choose.
  • Coordination for your dog(s) to be a beautiful Ring Bearer or other duities, including liaising with the Registrars and Venue Coordinators.
  • Chaperoning and entertaining your dog(s) at the wedding venue.
  • Providing comfort breaks, food, and water as required.
  • Including your dog(s) in the drinks reception.
  • Assisting and coordinating with your photographer/videographer to include your dog(s) in pre-ceremony, post-ceremony, and evening photographs --- ensuring you achieve the best wedding photographs to treasure forever.

 

Approximately two hours at the wedding venue (longer available on request). While you may only want your dog(s) there for a short period for a photograph or two but, blocking out two hours allows for any delays and provides flexibility and reassurance that you will get the photographs you desire with your dog(s).

Content Creation and Communication

 

We serve as your personal "Wedding Dog Content Creator."

  • We capture behind-the-scenes moments through videography and photography of your dog at your wedding, creating memorable footage that you will treasure forever.
  • We specialise in creating social media content from your dog's point of view ("POV") on your wedding day. Our couples love experiencing and reliving their wedding through their dog(s)' POV.
  • We provide WhatsApp updates throughout the day for your added peace of mind - either directly to you or with a guest of choice if provided their number in advance. 

Post Wedding Pet Care

     

    • We will chaperone your dog(s) to an agreed, supervised location. Whether that be your home, doggie hotel, home boarder, kennels or a neighbour/friend's place - so you can relax and enjoy your big day and party all night long
    • We also offer a pet sitting service at an agreed location, providing you with peave of mind that your dog(S) are in great hands whilst you enjoy your evening celebrations. Examples of pet sitting locations include your wedding venue, hotel room, your home, rented holiday accommodation such as an airbnb or cottage close by. 
    • If we are pet sitting onsite at your wedding venue, we can also assist your photographer/videograpther during the golden hour/sunset to incude your dog(S) in these magical pictures.

     

    Please note: we do not offer overnight home boarding in our own house. 

     

    "Get-to-know-you" Meeting / On-going Support

     

    • A mandatory face-to-face "get-to-know-you" meeting is required prior to the big day to meet you and your dog(s) in person. This meeting provides an excellent opportunity for your dog(s) to become familiar with their Wedding Dog Chaperones and is included in your quote as standard.

    (These sessions are arranged 1-2 months before your wedding.)

    • Additional face-to-face familiarization sessions or walks with your dog(s) can be organised at an additional charge as mentioned above
    • We offer unlimited support leading up to your wedding day through video calls, telephone calls, texts, and emails to ensure all your needs are met and we are on the same page so your day runs paw-fectly. 

    Booking our Services

     

    • If you wish to book our Chaperone Service, a 50% booking fee is payable.   

    • Upon receipt of this fee, your date will be formally reserved and confirmed on our calendar.   

    • The remaining 50% balance is payable 28 days before your wedding / ceremony date.  
    • A Contract Agreement is also sent via email to be completed, signed and returned.

      Bronze Package

       

      • Initial consultation with you to include introduction to your pet.

      • One get to know you walk prior to the big day if within 30 miles of my business address (BS34 5PY)

      • Collect pet and safely transport to wedding ceremony venue or meet them at the venue.

      • Enjoy a short walk before ceremony to expel some of that excitable energy

      • Tidy up/Brush/deodorise so they are looking and smelling their best - Raise the Woof's pride products

      • Dress your pet in your chosen attire (if needed)

      • Arrive at ceremony 45min before service begins - not included in your package time limit

      • Chaperone duties during the event i.e pet greeting guests on arrival, walking down the aisle, ring bearer etc

      • Assist wedding photographer at same venue to get best photos

      • Supervise and attend to all comfort needs of your pet

      • Safely transport back to your home or chosen destination

      • Unlimited communication prior to the big day

      • Typically around 2 hours at venue plus travel time.

      • Two get to know you walk prior to the big day if within 30 miles of my business address (BS34 5PY)

      • Pet sitting on the morning of your wedding day so you can all relax and enjoy your wedding preparations. Includes safe transport to wedding ceremony venue. 

      • Enjoy a short walk before ceremony to expel some of that excitable energy

      • Tidy up/Brush/deodorise so they are looking and smelling their best - Raise the Woof's pride products

      • Discounted full groom at the Raise the Woof Cabin (BS34 5PY)

      • Dress your pet in your chosen attire (if needed)

      • Arrive at ceremony 3hr before service begins - not included in your package time limit

      • Chaperone duties during the event i.e pet greeting guests on arrival, walking down the aisle, ring bearer etc

      • Assist wedding photographer at same venue to get best photos

      • Supervise and attend to all comfort needs of your pet

      • Typically around 3 hours at venue plus travel time.

      • Pet sitting at your family home, wedding venue or chosen location during your reception up until 10am the following morning - well rounded plan for anyone who may be staying the night at the wedding venue.

      • Unlimited communication prior to the big day

      Can we have our dog(s) with us all day/evening?

      Your pets are our top priority, and as much as we'd love to help you enjoy their company for the entire wedding day, the excitement, noise, different smells can cause some pets to feel overwhelmed and increase their stress and anxiety levels if exposed to long hours of heightened excitement. Therefore we recommend no longer than 3 hours. This will give them plenty of time to be involved with your guests, the ceremony and all of the photographs

      We can however personalise your package so we can look to split up the time at the venue - providing distance. 

      Where are you based and what area(s) do you cover?

      We are based in Bristol (BS34 5PY) we cover up to 30 miles from my registered address. However for a small fee of 0.30p/m we will cover outside this area. 

      Collection/drop-off costs are subject to change and will be included in the quote if they are substantially outside of our radius.

      What happens in an emergency?

      We will take all relevant emergency contacts with us. This could be a close friend or family member. We also collect the details of your own vet and the closet vet to the ceremony. We also take a thorough assessment of your pets health - incl their likes and dislikes, any medication, allergies, triggers to behaviours etc.

      Do you offer grooming?

      Raise the Woof originally launched as a grooming business, and while grooming remains our main focus, we have expanded to offer additional services.

      We provide grooming services at our cabin in Patchway (BS34 5PY). Grooming costs are discounted when included in our 'Gold package'.

      We can coordinate whether this happens prior to the wedding or on the day itself - time restricted

      If you choose not to opt for grooming services, rest assured that your pet will still receive care. They will be brushed, deodorised, and have their claws filed using our Raise the Woof grooming kit to prevent any accidental snagging of your dress. We will also ensure that any muddy paws are wiped clean, ensuring they are as prepared as you are for the big day!

       

      Important Considerations

      • Ensure that your chosen venues are pet-friendly.
      • If it's not a surprise, inform your guests that a dog will be present. This allows anyone with allergies or fears to be aware. It’s a good idea to notify your chaperone at the wedding so they can ensure those guests are comfortable and avoid the dog.
      • Ensure your pet has the right temperament for their role.
      • Rehearse with them and dress them in the chosen attire to acclimate them - your chaperone can only work so much magic!
      • If using real flowers as a collar, ensure they are pet-friendly, as some plants and foliage can be poisonous - if you need some guideance on this, please drop me a message
      • The health and welfare of your pet is always our top priority.

      Terms & Conditions

      Quotation Validity

      • Quotation available for 14 days only.

      Health and Safety

      • We have completed dog first aid training. In the event your dog requires urgent medical attention, we will consult with our local vet. Any associated fees will be your responsibility and are not included in our quotation. We will make every effort to contact you first, but if immediate action is necessary for your dog’s well-being, we will proceed accordingly.

      Flea and Vaccination Requirements

      • We expect all dogs to be free from fleas and up to date with vaccinations.

      Booking Terms

      • A small deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 28 days prior to your wedding. We will send you an invoice with bank payment details.
      • You will receive our contract to review, approve, sign, and return.
      • You have the legal right to cancel our service within 14 calendar days after we receive your signed contract agreement.

      Service Commencement and Additional Options

      • Our service begins with a personal meeting at your home or another agreed location to meet you and your pet.
      • As part of our service, we conduct a ‘get to know you’ meeting leading up to your big day to ensure we understand your dog’s needs and personality.
      • Additional face-to-face ‘get to know you’ sessions or walks with your dog can be arranged for an additional charge.

      Communication and Peace of Mind

      • We maintain regular contact with you leading up to the wedding day.
      • During our chaperoning service, we send text updates to reassure you that your dog is doing well.
